Business History

Waters Appliance Service, Inc. opened its doors in 1964. We're located in the heart of Olde Towne Gaithersburg on East Diamond Avenue, which is the main Olde Towne business district. We stock over 23, 000 different parts and accessories. While it is impossible to stock all the parts, for over 80 manufacturers we represent, we do stock the most frequently used items. We are happy to order any part you need if it is not already in stock. We provide warranty service for the majority of the manufacturers listed on this site according to their terms and with a proof of purchase. There is plenty of parking in our rear lot, behind the store

and street parking at the front of the store.

Mission Statement

Waters Appliance Service, Inc. Policy: We will not repair an items if the repair would be more than 50% of the replacement cost unless the customer gives their approval. We do not do "patch-up" repairs for operational and safety reasons. We strive to make the item repaired function the same or better than when purchased. Our current repair technicians have over 100 years experience at our company.

More about the owner...

Mr. Waters started this business in 1964 to provide service for appliances, vacuums, tools, shavers, clippers, grills, etc. It was and still is a much needed service for the people in the city of approximately 54,000 (Gaithersburg, Md.) Over the years this industry has changed tremendously. Mr. Waters was on the Board and has been President of the National Appliance Service Association. He is in constant contact with most of the manufacturers and many of the servicers like us throughout the country. Our current sales staff have over 110 years of experience at our company.
